One day, I had decided to put my PSP in my back pocket. In that pocket, also happened to be my wallet. Unfortunately, my wallet has a broken zipper on the pocket that change is kept in, and it ended up badly scratching the screen of my PSP. Because of that, I had to buy either a new face plate or a full replacement housing. I would have just gotten a new face plate, but since my niece ended up causing me to drop my PSP, which caused paint on the back of it to get scratched off, I ended up deciding to go ahead and get the full replacement housing.
I went to http://dealextreme.com/, and saw 3 different housings that I wanted. I then had to choose between Ice Silver (The current housing color of my PSP), clear, and clear blue. I decided not to get the clear one, though I really liked the buttons and thought that they would look a lot better on the color that I chose than the ones that came with the color I chose. Wish I knew where they sold those clear buttons separately. With clear eliminated, I had to choose between getting clear blue or keeping my PSP the same color by getting ice silver. It was a hard decision, but I decided to go with clear blue. I'm gonna miss my silver housing... I might just buy the silver one sometime later.
I can't wait to get my PSP in that new clear blue housing. I also bought the Full Body Coverage invisibleSHIELD from http://zagg.com/, to protect my PSP (after I get it in its new housing) from future scratches. I really hope it's as great as people say it is. I found the wrist scrap to my PSP... wish I had it on when I was around my niece... then my PSP would have never hit the ground, and got the paint scratched off the back of it. I'll be sure to always use my wrist scrap from now on, and since the invisibleSHIELD isn't drop proof, just scratch proof.
